Bizarre Injury

My elder boy was on an old Turbo this evening doing 30 minutes of sweat & puke intervals because it wasn't good weather for a ride.

During a fairly violent piece of work the outer plastic fan disintegrated (it's an old Turbo) and one vane was flicked up and stabbed the back of his calf.

It actually drew blood. The workshop above the garage is now strewn with little bits of white plastic. And the boy has a bloody calf.

They tend to go wrong in a spectacular way due to the RPM. I cracked the turbo fan on mine, and it was un-useable. Managed to get a replacement fan from Wiggle though.

It was an elephant calf. We don't have the climate or conditions for cattle in Herefordshire.

It's not injured or anything.... I was just cross that he has it, so I used a profanity.

He didn't need it. He already had a cheetah cub and a baby bloody rhino!
