I wonder of he only had a bottle of rye in his pocket.
The way she slid that blind down, I'd have a gun too.

And this might be colour (only just in places), but just think how dramatic it would have been in black and white, and don't think the scene is frozen either, if you look carefully you can still see Brian Blessed moving, albeit only slightly.... And I want to blink so badly just watching it!!
Also, the picture appears 11 seconds in, don't worry... And yes, that is Patrick Stewart, AKA Captain Jean Luc Piquard, only with hair from 5 mins onwards

By the way, don't touch the figs:

Livia, Emperor Augstus's wife has poisoned him and is there to make sure he understands what has happened (he never suspected her), whereas Tiberius, who arrives soon after her speech is her son and heir. The young guy who is imprisonned and who gets bumped off is Augustus's son and heir, whereas the other was an associate.... Just in case you hadn't guessed.

Cold blooded murder, pure and simple, and all I want to do is blink!!

I've never seen a shop owner close her store quite like this in Technicolor.

Wow, I'd forgotten how beautiful Dorothy Malone was.
The Pogles just wouldn't have been the same in colour. Not that we could have afforded a colour telly anyway!
Same here - I had a monochromatic childhood. We didn't have a colour tv until I was in the 6th form! Loads of 1960's and 70's programmes that would have been different watched in colour (Pot Black, One Man and His Dog, High Chapparal, M*A*S*H...) all got watched in monochrome.

Space Patrol (the animated version), OTOH, was in monochrome anyway I believe. Was Fireball XLV in colour? Anyone know?

We didn't get a colour telly till 1974. My friends family got one in 1969 when they went on general sale(i think?) I remember watching it at his house his dad always said "We've paid for a colour tv license and we're going to get colour tv"!! Therefore the colour dial was turned up to full, making everyone orange and being followed by a flame effect!
