Black Ice warning

Just a note to say its quite icy in the north east where I am. Encountered a couple of patches of black ice and had 2 off's in one morning . (Yes, Ill put them on youtube tonight ).

I could get used to it though, some lovely sympathy from the mrs

Ouch - unlucky!

Given my past history of ice / offs, I made it in to work this morning without mishap despite the side AND main roads being icy. Edinburgh Council hadn't sent the gritters out last night, obviously. The first grit I saw was between the underpass at Edinburgh Park Station and Edinburgh Park itself; of course, the Park is gritted privately and is usually done in the very early hours if it's been cold.

I didn't have anyone to express sympathy when I last came off, though. You're lucky in that respect!

I could have posted - very treacherous yesterday morning down our way - mid Sussex - ice glistening on all the roads .....

I managed to stay on board - but I was scared. Wish the motorists had been acting scared too.

OK today (warmer: rain).

Couldn't post - t'interweb was down at work...
