Seems pretty sturdy so long as you dont overload it. Theres a bit of what looks like brake cable that goes under the stem to stop any downward movement.
....maybe it's compatible?If they had any sense they'd use the R&K klick-fix, as it's now the industry standard and lots of cyclists have them already. Creating your own bespoke fixing will just put people off buying the Blackburn bag if they already have an R&K K-F fitted, as it's additional faffage to take one off and put the other on.
I dont think the attachment is the same as the rixen & kaul. With this you turn the dial a bit like a door lock, theres no klick into place.Looks as though it could be but I wouldn't swear to it. If it was, it would make sense to market it as such.
