So I bought a new cycle computer for my allez sport today, nd u wldnt have thought it wld b rocket science to set up would you? well i dnt kno if it was just me, but it took me a considerable amount of time (more than 1.5 hrs) to get the f***ing thing going, and now there is still loads of cable left over (which for now i have wrapped round the chain stay and then taped down). Also the shape of the crank means tht the cadence magnet can easily slip out of place, any advice?

hey

i just got a new cycle computer today as my wireless one has gone wrong so this time i got a wired one (a trek 11i). They do seem to take longer to set up but the readings are better.

I put mine on the stem then around the handle bars and back to the stem then wrapped it around the head tube and down under the bottom tube then along the tube and down to the bottom bracket, from there I took it up the wheel side and wrapped it a few times around the tube that connects the seat-tube to the back wheel where both the magent readers sit.

It seems to fit perfectly but did take some fiddling with to find the best way to connect it all up. Im not sure about then crank magnet mine just uses a cable ties and seems fine so maybe a pic of it and someone might be able to help
