Happy solstice!

I always plan to do something to mark its passing, but it always creeps up on me and this year was no exception.

I think last year I managed a ride to the local stones on the Fuji... this year managed a small loop nowhere special on the MTB..

I think we're due a frost soon so I'll have to stop riding until the hedgehogs wake up.

Sort of, with leaf blowers and a vacuum thing I believe.

Hopefully the bill will be winging it's way to those responsible in due course.

According to our guy on the ground there (one of our Morris side works for English Heritage and was there for the solstice), it was orange cornflour, which washed off easily.

I remember in the 80s someone painted LIVE in huge white letters in it... probably with emulsion. They got that off so a bit of dust shouldn't be to troubling.

Not really any bill, since it washed off easily, but still probably classes as criminal damage.
