Also, it's about six degrees warmer in the South, spent the weekend in Yorkshire, that was cold..

I went out on the bike , Not too bad with a wind proof jacket a snood and beanie but my bottom half got very cold
On a serious note the Altura night vision jacket kept the cold out more than I thought it would .
