Did the towel wash..and tumbled them..
hoovered and tidied up..
Watched a few Ray Donovan episodes..
took the front of the LG washer to see if the circulation pump was servicable...
made tea for the wife,washed up..
walked the dog..
played with me little chopper a few times while making cups of tea.;)
been a quiet man day for me really

Not today but last Sunday.... went down to my cycling buddy's house and removed, planed, varnished and refitted his sticking back door for him. He's a very clever physician with an Oxford degree but useless at DIY or bike fettling.

Cleaned the car ready for the return to work.

Nipped round to my neighbour's house and felled a tree, cut it up, carried the logs home, split them with the maul and stacked them. The chainsaw and the splitting maul are the most blokeish garden tools; they are very destructive and dangerous enough that you can order people around without fear of a challenge.

Completely cleared out our garage of crap which required two trips to the local skip - proper mans chore.

Now just need to find a proper mans tool to drill the holes in the breeze block walls for my new racks to hang up my bikes - my tool wasn't up to job!'

Fixed the shed's broken window
Put up a security light
Made a rain cover for said light out of a bit of guttering - this involved power tools
Moved some logs
Cleaned the woodburner
Got some tools out to fix pater's garage tomorrow

Slightly less blokey:
Made the tea for when she got home
Washed up
Tinkered with my CV
Hoovered
Did the laundry
