Bloody Hell, What is the Point

If you ride at 18mph or more you are advised to ride on the road anyway by the DfT.

That is the tone I took (succesfully) locally

I pointed out that at 20 mph it was unsafe to use a cycle path that is the main route to a school. I was complying with DfT advice by using the road where the speed was appropriate.

Several replies were supportive, including one form a parent thanking me for the consideration!

PS I also got a "bit of a reputation" when I used the "snap and send" to point out that Mayoress' car didn't help matters by parking illegally across the access to a cycle path!
