Is there any chance of enabling Bluesky posts to be displayed in the same way as Twitter/X via the 'media' icon, please? Given how many people & institutions are leaving Musk's realm, it would be nice if Bluesky could be recognised as an alternative here.

Bluesky is not currently part of the authorised embedded media listing on our version of XenForo.

There may be an update available to change this. If there is it will need to be loaded by Admin (Shaun).

We are currently compiling a list of site 'housekeeping' requirements for Shaun, and Bluesky embedding has now been added to it.

Indeed. In the meantime I use screenshots + link, but it's a clunky way to do it.

Its like twitter but not run by a n*** supporter. However, hardly anyone uses it by comparison so I can see why admin haven't added this or Threads or any of the other contenders.

maybe the thing to do is disable functionality to link to the site formally known as Twitter, which will help MR BlueSky gain traction.

It appear to be a much nicer social media space, but then ELO are nicer people than Elton Musk.

Being honest...

...Shaun is not available at the moment and Mods can't access the site Adminstrator area. This area contains the site source code, etc where any changes would need to be made.

There are also a whole raft of items that need attention on the site with Bluesky being way down the list.

TIC - let's focus on the positive and rejoice in the fact that we have a 99.9٪ functional site. 🪅🎉🎊
