Bluetooth Mac Address appeared in my kindle Fire?

I'm currently in Spain and tried to link my music on Amazon Prime in my hire car which didn't happen ( I now have the cable) but a Mac Address has appeared in my kindle fire bluetooth settings. I don't have a Mac. How would that have got there and is it dodgy?

All computers have a Mac address, it's got bugger all to do with apple, thank god. It's a unique identifier for your 'device'.

Not just computers, phones etc, anything that can connect to a network, even TV's.

Technically it's every network interface, so one device could have many MAC addresses visible on the network.

MAC address = Media Access Control address.
