I’ve been using a Logitech Pebble. About £20. Not heavy usage but it has always just worked, which is what I want.
It has both Bluetooth and dongle mode. I’ve used the former, due to single USB port on pc or tablet.

If you really want to treat yourself, get a Logitech MX Master 3, it's spectacularly good at mousing.

It's a big comfy mouse on steroids.

It's a big comfy mouse on steroids.

Sadly of no use to those who insist on living wrong handedly, but yes, big and comfortable. I used to have the Logitech Performance MX mouse a decade or more ago, and it was hands down the best mouse I'd had at the time, it lasted a few years and when it finally became unusable the MX Master series was the obvious option to replace it. There have been some nice upgrades over the time which make it really useful.

Edit: correction.
