Nine days since my hit and run. Ribs and knee still hurt quite a bit.
Am feeling quite tired as its hard to get comfy to sleep.
Can't ride bike, can't even walk to far tbh.
Fed up.

It'll take time. Push it and you'll end up making it worse.

Sit down in the sun, with a nice cool drink and plan a trip for when you are better. Hope you start feeling better quite soon.
Am mostly tidying my sons bedroom today - he's away with his dad, so thought I'd bottom it while he's not here to object!

I went back to work wed/thurs, but today is my day off, OH away, son away. Me and dog just looking at one another feeling glum!
Any progress with the coppers ?

No not really, they've basically now said that they're just waiting for his car to ping up on the ANPR or for his passport to be noticed. They aren't going to try to find witnesses or CCTV. My solicitor is going to request cctv from the building oppisite to see if there's anything usefull.

Have you seen the doc about your injuries? Even if you have, go and see her or him again and have them note that you are still in difficulty.
Yes I went on tuesday to see my gp. She prescribed more painkillers. She said it sounds like ligament damage to my knee and possibly a cracked rib, neither need treatment but will likely take 6 weeks to recover.
Me and son were meant to be having a cycling holiday in a couple of weeks, so looks like I will need to alter my plans somewhat.

Oh boo and poo. What a shame.

Has your GP given you cocodamol? Found them very helpful for sleeping with a painful shoulder. Diclofenac are good for reducing inflammation, especially if taken regularly, but there's nothing like a bit of opiate at night-time.

Yes, I'm on the big strength cocodamol and supplementing occasionally with diclofenac. The cocodamol has had an unfortunate effect on my bowels as expected so had to do the walk of shame into Boots to buy some lactulose!
