BMC Granfondo GF02 VS Norco Search.

Hey, everyone! I am planning on buying a new adventure road bike and I am torn between the BMC Granfondo GF02 Ultegra Disc 2015 Adventure Road Bike and the
Norco Search Ultegra/105 2015 Adventure Road Bike. They are about the same price (around 2000 pounds) and the BMC is aluminum while the Norco is full carbon.

I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to which one is best? This will be a bike that I ride almost everyday and on the weekend cycle the odd 50 plus miles.

One of the bike mags* recently tested both of these (and an alloy GT Grade IIRC).
The Norco got the higher score.

The BMC is prettier, but what is an "Adventure Bike" anyway ?

An Adventure Bike is a domesticated CX machine.

In terms of rider positioning they seem quite different beasts. Go ride them, and buy the one which suits you best.

If I was buying on looks alone then personally I would buy the BMC; but as @Drago says, go and ride them both and then buy the one you like the best; regardless of the frame material.
