If you live in London you can probably test one in Richmond at their offices. A Canyon, that is.

I wouldnt worry about test riding . What can you tell from a spin around the block with the saddle put roughly at your height :headshake:
Ive been looking at Canyon myself lately as ive seen some nice tt bikes they do . The prices have made me reaslise i can only afford to look :surrender:

Both will be great bikes however the brake at the BB would put me off the BMC. Also judging from the photo it doesnt have an internal battery...thats a bit daft for an aero frame.

Downside of the Canyon is that the aeroad had big delays in delivery earlier in the year, im not sure what its like now though.

Approaching perfection from a distance.
Have considered both these bikes but probably gonna opt for a Cervelo S3 which has all the aero advantages of the Canyon and BMC but is a little more compliant at the rear end for my 55 year old ar*e! Also comes with the option to convert to disc brakes in the future, which is probably the way all road bikes are heading.
About the same price with electronic shifting, although the Mavic wheels are not as good.

How can you convert to disc brakes when it doesnt have rear disc brake bosses????

Ps really stupid question,

What are you using the bike for, race, sportive, hills, flat, TT races etc.... Ride to shops, ride at weekends ?

Looks mean nothing..... You need a bike for a purpose.

I compared the geometry, stack and reach specs to my current bike and plumped for a small size aeroad. An awful lot of kit for the price. I'm picking mine up from Germany so paying in Euros (£3k for the 8.0!)

A bit more under control now, 3-6 week lead time depending on model
