My boy had his BMX stolen 2 weeks ago. It was a birthday present in June and I've never seen him so upset !!
Phone call from the police today to say its been recovered and we can expect it back in a couple of days.
The story is that a woman sees a local lad of reputation riding around and decides that there is no way he would have aquired that sort of bike by legitimate means. She tells him that she is going to call the police and he can either leave the bike with her or the cops can go round to his house to collect it, so he hands it over and walks home. Police check the frame number and up pops our crime report ....... result.
