I can only suggest a mountain bike it's basically an adult BMX, being as i ride both my bikes like they were bmx's would probably explain the need for truing regularly

Is there such a thing as a bicycle that doesn't need truing, or at least rarely needs truing? Always needing to get my bikes trued was what made me give up on cycling. It was a pain arse. Although they were road bikes that I cycled like they were dirt bikes so I probably can't complain much.

I suggest a hardtail MTB with solid none suspension forks & 26" wheels.
This will give the closest feel to a large BMX.

FWIW, one of my earliest posts was to try & find an original Robinson BMX & at the moment I'm glad I didn't...

I would only have used it in the back yard or a car park for re-learning tricks I never mastered as a Youf & probably put my back or knee out or something.

Would be nice for nostalgia but not really practical.

I have to say, none of my bikes need regular truing. I'm a heavy rider, and only ever had two wheels trued in 7 Years.
One was a new rear on a roadbike that kept popping spokes until it was trued, been fine now for nearly 10,000 miles.
Also had the front done after it was buckled after a crash.
Never had to true a MTB wheel, although they don't get a vast amount of use to be fair but they do get hammered when I do use them!

How much does it cost to Oldham?
Does it matter what kind of bike it is?
