Boardman MTX 8.8 vs Trek Dual Sport 3

Hey!

I am very new to cycling and don't really have the foggiest on what is good and what isnt. Looking at both a Boardman MTX 8.8 Hybrid and a Trek Dual Sport 3 (2021).

Both are the same price; I just don't know which spec looks better? Can see the boardman is slightly lighter but that's about it.

Mostly use the bike commuting around London but I also have a lot of woods near me which I'd like to use the bike for. Any advice on which one you think better and why would be greatly appreciated !!

Are they both available to buy? Stocks are very low for many bikes

Go for Trek over Boardman. I have the 8.9e electric hybrid, its a nice bike but nothing to write home about. But I absolutely love my 2011 Trek roadbike.
