Not sure about the pedals. Come from a jumping background?

bmx, I use it for commuting aswell and I just can't get on with Spds for the start stop journey to work.

Ahh using flippers or size 16's would be just as good as clipless!

Hah, clipless on a Sunday ride is good, but I think for the commute I'm asking for trouble. Hah

It's just something you have to get used to. I use SPD-SL's on my commute and weekend rides through London. Lots of stop starts but when you're used to it's fine.

A few times i went off road with SPD-SL pedals, that was great fun as I had so much control of the rear end on the jumps.
