I am thinking of buying this bike and wanted opinions. I will relegate my Giant Defy 2 (sora) to winter hack and use this one for Sportives and sunny days.

It is £999. But......I can get 3% off (Quidco) and 10% off road bikes at the moment at Halfords. Also I think I can get another 10% using my British Cycling discount. This should come to about £785.

Can I use all 3 discounts together? What are the wheels like? Am I drunk or a clever clogs?

If you use a discount code on the Halfords site which isn't advertised on the Quidco site, they will decline the cash back.

So you will be able to get the 10% off all road bike plus the 3% cash back but as the British Cycling Council code is not on their website, they will decline the 3%.

But 10% off, if it works, is obviously much better than 3%, so either a 13 or 20% discount.

Ok. But the BC discount will be applied at the store when I go in to pay, not online. Will that be detected and be enough for the quidco discount to be declined?
