Boardmans make brilliant bikes I have a team carbon that's about 2 years older than these models and can't fault it. The spec is brilliant and at 800 quid I'd buy if I was in the market for a road bike like this

I see a Boardman Road Team bike on the bike racks every day. Looks a really nice bike - However the owner really takes no care of it. Brakes are way off the rim, chain is a complete mess, one of the stays on his Crud guards is missing - Indexing is probably out too.

Go and check it out in store, I think you'll like it. As others have said - A lot of bike for the money.

Anyone know what the biggest width tyre this bike could take?
I'd like to put on 25 or 28mm tyres in the autumn

You will get 25`s on, not sure about 28`s though, i ride all year round on 23`s and the only time i go any bigger is if i use the MTB when theres snow and ice about.
