Actually, it may suit it.....

Im thinking about changing to a quill stem on my TT bike, its got a converter on it at the moment, but i just have a feeling it would look much nicer with a quill stem on it instead. Going to borrow one to see if i can get away with a slightly shorter stem after the last TT i do...........

Well to fit a quill stem i would need a new set of forks, there was an option for threaded forks when i bought the frame but opted for the ahead instead as there is more choice for stems and easier to source.

i try not to ever ride it in wet weather so no need for any.
