Hi everyone, I have received the sad news that Bob Maitland passed away today (26th August) in Metz hospital where he had been in a critical condition since he suffered a heart attack on Wednesday the 4th of August. He was 86 years old and had the heart attack in the Permance i.e. headquarters of the Semaine Federal, an annual week long cycle event held this year at Verdun, eastern France. He was attending the trade show and paramedics were quickly on handly and after immediate attention was then transferred to Metz hospital where he has been in intense care. We have been receiving regular updates on his condition and he was having first class attention.I am sorry to give you this news will you please let any of his friends know. Regards Harry Reynolds
