Bolton.....anyone know it? where to park?

If you mean the multi story on Bow Street that has been condemned and closed down for months.

There is a small car park at the bottom of Bow Street but I don't know the rates as I don't venture into town TBH.

Hm. Not all the car parks are marked on Google maps but I was thinking of a pay and display car park that you see as you come off St Peter's Way. It's the one Mr K likes but I usually go down Brown Street.

Bolton Wanderers are at home on Saturday,i dont know if that will affect the parking availability though.

The Macaroon (ono ) stadium is out of town now and has parking enough not to interfere with the town centre too much.

Just as an aside tho, nice to see Wanderers doing well this season, I have a few pals who are fans, its been a bad few years for the club.

The one next to Meca bingo is pretty big, we use it when we do the market shop because the actual car park in the market is a pain to get in !

Went to Bolton once for work (to a hospital to interview a doctor from memory), it seemed an utterly unremarkable place with extraordinarily low house prices, at that time not one house in the estate agents window was over 100k, there were some big piles, and most were sub 25k!

I think I parked at whatever hospital it was so that may not be much help (and as it was at least 10 years ago, that hospital may no longer exist)

My first house was £21k but that was in 1993, I only wish my next house had been so cheap as well

Anyhoo it appears Boltons property market has improved a teeny bit if this pad is anything to go by

I think it's relative this is a 5 bed flat you'd think they'd at least call it an 'apartment' at £26m. You get a pool but unlike yours, you share the gated garden with others I shudder to think what the service charges are!
