After 3+ years of hard work, my Aftershokz Bluez have bitten the dust. Only one side works, all of a sudden and I suspect a short in there somewhere. They won't talk to my phone or anything.

Before I go mad and lash out good money on new Aftershokz (they ain't cheap) or good money on poor alternatives, I was wondering if the good people of Cycle Chat Land might have any recommendations on any other brands. I only like the bone conduction ones, not ear buds or anything. I can hear the traffic and what not you see.

Pay day tomorrow and I would like to get some sooner rather than later.
Thanks

I would love to see some recommendations before the thread gets dragged off into a pointless argument about whether or not it's OK to listen to music while riding

I realise I may be too late already

I'll take a wild stab on Amazon or go and ask the boys and girls on FLAB.

I like my Aftershokz and I reckon that I have ridden a lot more because of them. Plus there is the wonderful fact that they pair with my phone so that if the phone rings I can answer it, hands free. If I miss a call, because I am on my bike, and it happens to be the transplant team, that could mean the difference between Hubster getting a new kidney or not getting a new kidney. I stand by my decision to use them.
While I'm on the subject, I don't listen to music when in towns or busy roads. When I do listen to music, I can hear my tyres on the road beneath me and I can hear cars approaching. I can hear birds tweeting too. They are bloody good and I know that I am not the only person on here that uses them.

I use them when I walk the dogs, or walk to the shops even. Not just for cycling.

I start off thinking what do you want headphones for and am then reminded. I may have an old pair of Aftershokz in the loft. Let me look.

The latest Aftershokz ones, Titanium (although I think they are still just plastic!), are really good. I love mine.
