Do they work well with speech radio stations like Radio Four? There are some mornings where I wouldn't mind listening to Today on the ride in or the Six O'Clock News on the way home.

I've not tried with speech etc yet. I quickly trip with the talking clock and they were fine.

Audio quality is as you'd probably expect... Not as good as normal headphones but still at a reasonable level. Crank up the bass and they jump around..

I got the wired ones. They still require a charge up but last upto 12hours it says.

I don't find the battery life on Bluetooth headset adequate for music... Dead after 3 hrs or so.

I wouldn't recommend them over normal headphones unless you're in an environment or situation where you need your ears open etc.

Got a wired pair last week and I really like them. Not tried them for cycling yet but have used them out running. I use Zombies, run! And found them fine for the story narrative. Actually, overall, better than in ear type as I have struggled to find any that will stay in ear securely when running

I don't think I'd wear them on the bike but I've got very narrow ear canals so my ears keep blocking. Anything that pushes wax further in is a no no so I currently have some over-ear ones but they do limit my ability to hear what's around me (doorbell, phone etc) so these could be good.

I've got Aftershokz Bluez and I really like them. They do indeed jump about if you crank the bass up  I'm getting 6+ hours of 'music time' out of mine. I think that they are fabulous. I got 15% off at my LBS too so very pleased with that.
I don't much like earbuds type headphones as they make my ears itch and there is no way that I am walking about, in public, with big headphones that make me look like a cyberman.
