Know very little about them apart from I always wanted one from being a kid.
I was looking at the Lego bonsai kit, but then thought why not a real tree not a plastic one.
Started searching online and before you know it I'd purchased one of these https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0D125NXW8?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
A Chinese Elm bonsai. It came in 2 days. Seems fairly well packaged, in a blue ceramic pot which was zip tied to the bottom of hte box to stop it flying about and getting crushed. The soil was clingfilmed in to keep the moisture.

I'm quite pleased with it. Nice little tree with an attractive bend to the trunk.
Need some tips on care; I don't have good form with plant care!

I've watered it a little, so the soil is damp to the touch but not drenched.
Not sure whether to try to put it somewhere it gets direct sun or not.
Also pruning, no idea what to do. Will leave it for now ...see what I did there
Food. The leaflet recommends feeding it every 10 days. I have some tomato food from when I grew some chillies. Would that be ok?
