I will eventually list a couple of books here, but as an idea, why cant all book raffles be predetermined.

If you have a book to give away, list it here, wait for PM's, after a week, write down the addresses of all those that request it in the books blank pages, then as people finish it, they can simply pop it in the post to the next name on the list.

If there are takers, I will list some books within a week.

Hmm, not convinced I'd want my name and address floating around like that. The current way we do it seems to work ok.

Prefer this current method. The last person got my address via a PM.
Half way through my copy, so i'll be doing a raffle in due course

good idea but must admit , not sure i would want my name and address in a book i might not get for a few months

As there are more than one copy of some books floating around it could get a little silly.

Maybe list the names in the fly leaf in order they reply to a thread and then as one person finishes the book they PM the next person on the list for their address and to see if the book is still required.

A list of 10 addresses in a book is harmless.
