Bored Kids v No School Run

I'm really enjoying my commute just now, mainly I believe because there's no school run mums (less traffic). However with the school hols comes the problem of bored school kids, particularly late in the evening, jumping out in front of cyclists throwing thing at them, ect.
I just wondered what people thought about the matter?

Yes interesting time of year and you really need eyes in the back of your head when the little scrotes are out.

No problems here..... see the kids as I get home, but I know them all....

Had a little lad I know shout "Oh you are even faster than me" - he's not yet 5, and starts school in September - his big sister is in my son's class - so I generally let on to them all as I pass - even fully lycra'ed !!!

Beckenham was nice and clear of mummsy and her little darlings trying to park their 4x4's badly on zig zags and then crossing the road ignoring the Lollipop man 50 yards down the road..

Have to say that since I moved from the paths to the roads, I've noticed how nice it is not to have to deal with the daily dose of summer holiday kids thinking it's hilarious to pretend not to have seen you coming, and then suddenly walking backwards into your path when you're a few feet away.
