Boring question/rant about rim tapes

Why is it that sellers of the circular, plastic type rim tape rarely, if ever, state which innertube valve it's made for? Yes, they give the wheel size it fits and tape width so why not state which valve it's made for. Surely I'm not the only pratt who's wasted time trying to enlarge a rim tape hole that was made for a Presta valve when I needed it to fit a Schrader valve?

I require two circular, plastic style tapes for a 700C wheel, tape width 18mm to fit a Schrader valve. I'd really appreciate it if someone could point me to an on-line seller of such an item. Thanks.

The difference is 2mm in diameter. I don't get what the problem is..

I purchased some Schwalbe rim tape and the valve hole was too small to accept a Schrader valve.

The holes are usually a bit on the big side for Presta IME.
I always assumed that was just so they would be big enough for Schrader also.
