Wheel-ly unlikely duo ... Kelly and Boris gear up for a ride around London

She's riding the sort of bike I'd thought he'd cycle, except I thought he'd ride the gentleman's version.

+1. Nice one Boris. Funnily enough, Boris is one of the few politicians I actually like too, and Ken is another.

The Kelly Brook photo is better (for cycling) because it normalises cycling, she's not dressed fetishistically.

Or Swain's Lane round the back of Highgate cemetary. Perhaps we should organise a race? ;)

Dear God above, this is why so many women are put off cycling. Not everyone looks that good in a body condom and won't cycle if they feel like it's a requirement.

On the article though hurrah for Boris. We have showers at work but the sweat thing's an excuse used by many of my colleagues. It's rubbish!

central yes, but go to the surronding areas and you get a few hills, saying that i do see a few single speeds going up brixton hill each day, so it can't be that hard to go up hills on em.

You've just proved BigSteev's point, LOL!

Besides which, fixed wheels are usually faster uphill than geared bikes, for all but the steepest.
