Boston Biker (new user) coming to Germany for a semester

Hello,

I'm a new user here and a 20-year-old music student in Boston, Massachusetts. I mostly bike around Boston on the streets but after visiting Mont Ventoux last summer I am now inspired to start doing a bit more serious biking and training. I actually discovered this forum while reading about biking Ventoux; there are some very inspiring stories here. I would love to work towards to the goal of biking up that mountain!

Starting in early September I will be studying in Freiburg, Germany for a semester and I couldn’t be more excited about it. I plan on biking as much as I possibly can.

Anyways I’m happy to be on this forum as I have much to learn and it seems you all have great information and advice to impart.

Haha you're modest but compared to me I'm sure many people on here know quite a bit!
