After finding one in Sainsbods for £1.50 thought I look for some online:eek:

£30, £40, £50, I came across THESE on Probike for £117....I think there's a more expensive ones out there.....why

Because some people like to spend money on silly things. To be honest I don't care whatever makes you happy. It is silly though I agree. Still some of it goes into the system in vat so live and let live.

(..and IMO the cheaper one is better because the screw is wire and less likely to break the cork and it is almost certainly lighter.)
 
I've two thirty quid carbon cages on my nice bikes - however I didn't pay for them, they were thrown in with the bike, as were the £150 pedals :smile:

3 of my cages were 'free' (two on a second hand bike I bought, one taken off a friend's BSO going to the tip) and I bought the other one for £2.50 :thumbsup:
