Bottom bracket cable guides

Long shot but is it possible to get a BB cable guide that crosses the cable from one side to the other. My Uncle John cross frame has just the front mech cable routed under the BB (the rear mech cable runs along the top tube) but for some daft reason known only to Planet X the cable stop is on the right side of the frame. This means that the cable has to cross over under the downtube in order to enter the correct channel of the BB cable guide. The cable therefore pings against the frame - it barely clears the tube - and drives me nuts.

Any ideas? I've tried various cable guides and even tried turning the cable guide around. Cable is currently run through a section of waterproof plastic outer things to dampen the vibration.

I think my Cross bike uses one that does this. i'll check tonight and let you know what it is
