Anyone want to take a stab at how many spaces I need for my bottom bracket?

Its a 68 sealed hollowtech, I used a road BB, the cranks are prowheel 1x, I measured the total axle as 136mm, that is including the part of the axle inside the one piece with crank, according to their instructions provided with a QR code printed on the crank ( http://www.pro-wheel.com/ins/Road_2PCS_RANK_UNIT.htm ) its 3.5mm plus 4mm on the DS, tried this and it’s way too much, ended up with 2mm on each side which seems good.
I was under the impression none were needed with road BB but there was too much side to side play with none…so am I reading their instructions incorrectly or doing something else wrong, as I thought once I found the instructions I would be good but its just made me more confused.

I think that diagram is for one particular model of crankset and you don't state which you have nor which BB you are using. However I wouldn't over think it, if you have both sides engaged properly and torqued up right and there's no play, then it's probably close enough.

I was thinking the link on the crankset would link to my actual model I have? Theres a few numbers on the crankset, not sure which is the model number, I tried searching but no matches, FD16 seems the most likely, the bb is a shimano rs 501 road. …yeah happy with fitting now, just would be nice to solve this problem once and for all.

If it's fitted, I'd probably mark it as solved :okay:
