My friend is giving me his old marin argenta 2015 bike, the frame and wheels are decent but the groupset is worn and im thinking of upgrading it.

Ive seen a good price on a full tiagra groupset but the BB is hollowtech 2

The marin is sealed cartridge

So can i replace the sealed cartridge with the hollowtech?
Providing they are both 68mm

Piece of cake. You'll need some hollowtech tool of course. The chainset should come with BB.

Yep, English thread threaded BB with a HT 2 spindle diameter will go straight in.
