Back in early 2023, I bought an Optima Dragon which had been gathering dust in the seller's garage for years. I recommissioned it, built a dynamo wheel for it and installed lights, then rode it the grand total of 21km before selling it a few months ago. Last week, it popped up on eBay and the seller offered it to me for pretty much what I sold it for, so much to my wife's dismay, I've bought it back. I never felt like I'd given it a fair hearing, so this time I'll be trying to ride it more often.

Moral of the story...
Don't sell a bike without good cause!!
We all have a bike we ought not to have sold!
In my case a brown Walvale with yellow detailing sold in Southampton area!
Brought a yacht with proceeds!

Your story makes me wish I never sold my recumbent. Always regretted it. But my knees never liked it, even though 1. It was bloody good fun. 2. It was fast.
