Just enjoy it...if you can use it to commute, it'll be paid off in a few months! If not, you'll have some of the best times of your life (even if it seems hard at the time!) for a decent amount of money.

Sounds like a decent enough bike for the price. You can get some budget gear at Decathlon or Aldi and see if cycling is your thing. I should hold off on the clipless (confusing this as they are in reality clips) pedals which will mean having to buy shoes as well. Not a bad thing as walking in them as well is near impossible. Hope you enjoy it!

SPD MTB style are generally ok for walking as long as the cleats are recessed
