There's lots of hellos here so I thought I'd try something different, it means 'hello, how are you' from my part of the world (but not since 1987!). I suppose I'm not new more sort of born again, I was on here for a while until my PC buggered up my password so I gave up. I've logged on again because I may well have lots more cycling time in the new year thanks to Mr Cameron / Brown (delete as appropriate). Anyway I now live in Edenbridge, Kent and I'm into Mountain biking (XC mostly) and I'm now getting back into road again after years of mud. I've got a place on the hell of the ashdown and I'm trying to get a bit of training in. I've recently built up a road bike from a Pinnacle Prototype frame and bits off ebay. It seems to work. I've also got a Scott Ransom 20 carbon (2007), A Cannondale Rush 4 Carbon (2008) and a 2001 Gary Fisher Big Sur rigid (pig iron). I also used to ride fixed a lot but sold it to pay for the Ransom (i mean part of the ransom!). Anyway I thought I say hello!

Hello, and welcome back.

I see you're taking n+1 to heart with the bikes ... sounds like a nice collection you've got going there.

Cheers,
Shaun

Oh ..... OK, it's not that sort of ransom .... but it sounds like a much-used line

The old ones are the best. I'm not sure I've got any family members worth selling my Ransom for, in fact if anyone wants to offer me a few quid for the tiwns I'll consider it, once they are gone I may actually have time to get out on one of my bikes!
