I did a cycle run over to the Olympic park last sunday. Very early 6am and VERY wet, pissing rain.

Going eastbound I did the flyover as it looked and felt the safer option. My only concern was the adjoining slip road but thankfully not much traffic at 7am.

Coming back i decided to go under as only having 1 traffic lane westbound over the flyover and poor light conditions i felt this was safer. To be honest i didn't see much that would worry me going underneath going westbound although OWN the lane you are in and avoid using the CS2 until you have go to the top of the slip road.

....On a side note, does anyone know how to use indicators any more? It's no good signalling one millisecond before you do the manouvre.

This is a worrying trend amongst a large proportion of road users.

Motor vehicles sitting at lights and only indicating after they move off, cyclists rarely indicating or even looking before manouveres etc
