Would this be the same Amir Khan who caused an horrific crash in his high powered Mercedes a few years ago? I think in that incident if it is the same Amir Khan he was overtaking on the brow of a hill at well over 100mph and crashed head on into an oncoming car. I think some one died and another is now paralysed in a wheel chair. I think he served a term of imprisonment for that. So if it is the same Amir Khan he has form.

Anyway I thought there was only 1 flyweight/welterweight/lightweight champion Asian boxer? That's where I have been going wrong then .

Anyway this other Prince Naseem Hamed chap caused an horrific crash and as I said served time in prison 15 months according to the article.

In that article it sayd "22 year old cyclist" whereas on the radio I'm sure that it said the cyclist was a 14 year old boy trying to keep up with Amir in his RR.

It said in the original report that the driver was not at fault.

The MEN reported that another driver had to do an emergency stop as the rider rode out at the crossing. I dont see how you can blame Khan in this instance. Yes he has form, but hopefully he's adjusted his attitude on the road as a result of his ban.
