(and I notice you did not have baked beans on your plate), I salute you :highfive:

Well spotted!

Beans keep the offspring happy.

The oldest of them refused black pudding on account of its ingredients but proclaimed the pork and black pudding to be the tastiest of the sausages on offer. He only asked about their identities after eating them.

Managed a run in the pouring rain with Mrs Doseone, demolished a huge plateful of leftovers for lunch, then took the kids down to the Ice Hockey. We don't go that often, but really enjoy it when we do. I am in awe of the skill and speed of the players.

I've been at work all day.
Who would want to go to Halfords on Boxing Day?!
No body in their right mind judging by the customers!

We did!

We were actually going to Homebase next door for some electrical supplies for my Mum's lamps, and the Halfords is next door, so we popped in to see if there were any bargains in the sale. In the 'reduced to clear' section, NT found an inner tube suitable for a Brompton, normally £5, marked up at £3. So he decided to get it.

At the till, the girl scanned it, and said "25p please."
NT boggled, and said "Are you sure?"
"Yes, 25p"

That's what we call a bargain! I did wonder if the poor staff were so bored and fed up they were just inventing prices!
