As long as I breathe, I attack.
15 miles today , boy that wind was strong but i flew when i started back on the loop, weighed myself and no change .

Club run tomorrow, steady ride of about 17 mph average will suit me fine.

Boxing day is 'Ding ding, round two' of the gluttony fest.

It's fry up day with:

Sausages, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, home made chips, baked beans, black pudding, tomato sauce, chop sauce, mayonnaise and loads of bread and butter.

Add a cup of tea and you have there a meal to win a Gold Medal in the "Worlds best Top grub up list", and to think the French and Italians think they are the gastronomic centers of Europe.

Did a 50 mile ride on Friday and felt fat and knackered , so will carry on eating and will worry about loosing the weight and training the day after New Years Day.

Why does trifle taste so good but make you want die after the 3rd bowl full (with the odd mince pie between helpings) , and why is Cream given with Mince pies when i want Custard , or is that just wrong.

Very quiet day today, no booze and simple food (shoulder of lamb has had 3 hours in the oven so far, smells devine). The real bombardment starts tomorrow when we drive to my brother's in Leeds for the big family party - at least 30 of us including a three month old great nephew who I'm yet to meet.

20 miles this morning, had to cut it short as too windy on the tops for me to feel safe, nearly blown off a couple of times!

Too many sprouts???????????

Well, a mate of mine treated Cubester and me to the Sale Sharks vs Newcastle Falcons game. Great afternoon out, with a good big crowd (9500) and a game that was intriguing to a neutral.(Falcons pack was good, but lost it in the three-quarters, whereas Sale were just that bit slicker)

Just had the leftover beef from yesterday with some roast taties and cauliflower cheese.
