Ive been offered this lot today. I want to give the owner a fair price. Any idea of the value of this lot.

i would think somewhere between 300 - 600 would be a fair price if its as good as it looks

so try an offer at 200 and see what happens

You can't be a buyer and a seller ! Ask the owner of the stuff what he wants then see if you can have a deal. If he won't be straight with you, walk away....that may make him see sense .

Lovely collection (I wish my parts bin looked like that!). Having seen the extra pics on Facebook both Rotrax look in really great condition. I think closer to 600 would still be a very good deal.

But the seller should come back with a price the have in mind so you both have an idea where you stand. The Campag stuff may well be worth a fortune but you can't sell something as a job lot and expect to get the same as you would for the individual items. If the seller wants to maximise the returns they should sell individual bits and part out the bikes (!). A job lot is cheaper because the buyer takes on the task on going through everything and reselling what they don't want (something the seller doesn't want to take on and the price should reflect that).
