Very few details in the story but sounds very bad.

Hope she makes a full recovery.

Dodgy road, not great for cyclists. I'm pretty sure it's a 30mph limit, but it's a dual carriageway and cars travel much faster than that and it's got lots going on; parked cars, side streets, laybys and the like.

Its a lousy dual carriageway in both directions at the best of times. Its 30mph but very few people adhere to it if any! Has a fair share of wagons and arctics thundering up and down as its a main link road. My thoughts go out to her and her family....

When I was a kid it was a three lane dual carriageway with a 40mph limit all the way to Odsal top. I think the limit was dropped down to 30mph when the guided bus route was installed. Many drivers still treat it as 40mph road though. Hope the cyclist recovers ok.
