Brake blocks scratched rims

Looks like I got some grit stuck in the brake blocks which has scratched the front rim on my road bike, not badly but you can feel the score lines. What would be the best way to go about repairing this or needn't I bother?

Wot he said. Unless it's the wear line you don't need to do anything.

I'm pretty sure it's not a wear line, the bike hasn't seen a great deal of use and all it's done is take off the black finish so that it's now silver. I've sanded down the pads to get rid of the grit now so I'll just leave it as is.

Hmmm wear line.

Worry when it appears, or when it disappears?

When it disappears. If it was moulded from the inside of the rim, it would appear at exactly the point when you have two rims instead of one.
