I’m installing canti’s on a drop bar touring type bike that I got as a frame only

The leavers don’t have a barrel adjuster but there is an adjuster on the front cable hanger

But my question is what do people use on the rear. My frame has an inbuilt cantu cable stop. Do most use an in line barrel adjuster or something else?

My CX bike doesn't have any adjusters - I just set it with the straddle wire 'bolt' on the calliper arm. You could use an in-line adjuster for the rear if you needed

I have an in-line on on mine. It’s actually a Shimano SM-CB90 which has a quick release too, but that’s a bit redundant given I can just release the straddle. But that was what I found in my parts box when I was looking for one :-)

Yes I put an inline adjuster in when I tarted up a bike with cantilever brakes. Just makes it easier getting them set up and adjusted
