brake levers

Got Sora STIs on the drops, with dual pivots brakes.

I've also got tucked away a pair of 'V' brake levers with the integrated shifters.

Question. Although I'm happy with the current racer/commuter layout, its not inconceivable I might wish to change it to a flat bar racer. Are Vs and dual pivot compatible? if not, which levers have more pull?

V brakes have more pull.

Check out www.sheldonbrown.com , somewhere in there I remember him dealing with this exact issue.

You can but canti levers, but they won't be integrated with the shifters (which is a sin anyway ) allowing you to use rapidfire shifters.
