My 2 best bikes; 1 is a Specialized with in your face logos splashed all over (of which you have seen), the other, my Van Nick is logo-less.

I loved my specialized except for this very issue. They don't do subtle! My Vitus on the other hand, you need to want to see what's on the downtube.

I don't care about logos on clothing though, I'd rather it functioned as marketed.

Sounds like me.
I glanced at a photo from one of the weekend rides and noticed that the 'stylish' look was mostly dark/black with subtle detail (aka Shutt/Rapha etc)
It's like cars - once upon a time...black paint was the cheapest, then along came colour, black became associated with 'authority' / elitism and so on...
All that to say is, wear something that you can sit on comfortably, then something that you can hold repair stuff in, and then may or may not keep you dry.
As Ian says - 'chacun à son goût - as long as it's black!'

Classic, stylish and uncluttered.

I've got a couple of Shutt jerseys, they are nice to look at but more importantly they are lovely to wear and well made....in England.

Not cheap though.
