He...he.. off work this week... roads didn't look too bad - nice and dry up in Manchester... but cold..... local radio was warning about conditions...nothing's been gritted though !!!

Is it just me or does the cold weather (Below 2 Degrees and Frosty) really take it out of you ?
I had to stop up a Hill 4 times Wednesday morning and twice today with a sit down at the top.

Normally I can get to work without stopping

just back from a wet windy hilly blast around the muddy country lanes. Can't say it was very pleasurable but I had to go. I'd run out of excuses

My fence has just blown over - glad I went out this morning, although, I hope the winds have died down by the morning.
